David Muir is an American journalist and anchor best known for his ABC newscast World News Tonight with David Muir as well as his role in the ABC News magazine 20/20 for which he's anchorman and co-anchor. The most viewed news show across America is his dramatic program, which features celebrity gossips motion-animated gestures and clips. He is also known for his Emmy-nominated program Made In America. Prior to his appointment as anchor of ABC World News Tonight he was the anchor in charge for his predecessor Diane Sawyer.
