Cassandra Monique Batie aka Andra Day, is a American R&B/Soul singer-songwriter. The singer has received numerous awards such as a Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nominations for an Academy Award. Andra Day, a gifted musician and singer with a background in blues, gospel and gospel with a love of the current world. She is much more than just an R&B throwback expert. Day then released her first song Forever Mine. DJs began playing the track in radio stations. She then signed with Warner Bros. Records. Adrian Gurvitz recorded her debut album called Cheers to celebrate the fall. The track "Rise Up" became a global anthem within social justice movements. Day has received two Grammy nominations, including Best R&B Album. The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a concept-album about the legendary jazz singer's life, was released in the year the year 2019. The United States against Billie Holiday was released in 2021. It was the same year she appeared as Holiday. Andi Mathichak was born and raised in America. Her first appearance on television was in with shows such as Orange Is the New Black & Blue Bloods. Then she was in the movie industry with Halloween as well as its sequels in the role of Allyson. Andi is an American actress born in Framingham on the 3rd of May 1994.
